*sigh* I didn’t do enough research into this series. I’ve been told it’s angsty & a bad ending. I want something that will give me butterflies not trauma… I think I may have to DNF.

Wow… I stayed up until 5:30am reading last night.. that’s how much this book had my attention. I’ve been saying for the longest time how much I love Hongjun & Jinlong..but loving Xiang Shu & Chen Xing just a little more.. I think I can confidently say that Wu Du & Duan Ling are my favorite FTYX couple.

My kindle has been all outta whack. I’m definitely not done with the book. But I fell out of reading for a few weeks. But I’m glad I’ve forced myself to make time.. this book took such a turn. In the best way. Seeing Hongjun & Jinlong grow together.. meeting the infamous poet.. Mergen & Lu Xu? But my most favorite part? Li Jinlong’s snark.. he’s so funny 😛

Hongjun…. Why would you just reach inside his pants & freaking GRASP HIM? Jinlong is such a golden retriever. He loves Hongjun so much 🥹

I thought that my kindle would update my progress 🥲 anyway, I’ll probably finish this tomorrow.. but I can’t say enough just how much I love Chen Xing & Xiangshu.. my favorite Donghua is Tianbao Fuyao Lu, so I’m a teeeeensy bit biased? I don’t know what it is but FTYX’s build up of a slow burn romance… I just fucking love it.

I’m alive!! I hope everyone had a great holiday. Getting back in to finishing Thousand Autumns this week. I hate how Goodreads doesn’t let you tag people or alert them. Some people wanted to know my thoughts on ERHA 10.. my favorite part was Xue Meng’s story & how he’s grown post calamity. I think the book was just a fever dream.. like it was so fast but dragged too!!!

To sum if up- did anyone feel like this book felt disjointed and like so fast and so slow at points? I also think the AU should hav been pushed to the last book if it’s all extras
