I feel like we're slightly losing the plot for a budding romance between our main character and the brother of the guy accused of murdering his girlfriend... 😑 While we're trying to prove the brother innocent... Idk, just seems... Priorities are being ignored for different ones

A racist journalist, a father who cheated on his wife and then proceeded to marry the woman he was cheating with, a sudowoodoo little sister, a friend who had an obvious crush on the victim's boyfriend, the victim actually being a terrible person, and a boyfriend who committed sudowoodoo after "confessing" to his dad via text just before taking the sleeping pills

I think I have a theory on who done it 🤔

This is a pretty short read... But now I know it's borderline FanFiction, I'm just not too keen on reading the hell out of it 😫 I'm almost done with my challenge, I just have to soldier through this book!

Alright, I think the plot's finally taking off, we've caught up with everyone and now Wesley is dead. On to save time itself!

I like Star Trek: Next Generation, so that's why I picked this up at a small comic book store... What I don't like is Time Travel... Also, so far this feels like FanFiction a little bit, because after doing some research (haven't finished the show 😢) a character that's the product of two characters that have that will-they-won't-they relationship doesn't exist in the canon universe.

This whole book at this point is just me thinking... "Wait... What...? Did I miss something!?!? I'm almost done with this and I don't dick about these characters!!"

I feel bad it's taking me a moment to get to reading this. I got this at a comic con back in 2023 and had it signed by the author... But I'm a little bored 👀

I can't help feeling that this would be way more interesting if it were told from Joan's perspective. I understand this is a historical retelling through the eyes of one of her soldiers because she died and couldn't tell her own story, but it'd still be interesting to see how she felt personally about her whole prophecy stuff.

I call bull crap!! The physical copy cut out an entire scene where people are plotting to kill Joan for being a witch and after she talks them out of it, she tells the ringleader of the idea that his second plot to do again won't come because he'll die and then he's immediately killed after his horse falls on him in the river!!!

So the physical copy I was given as gift by my church is a heavily, HEAVILY abridged version of the original copy... And there's no audio book version of this copy... I refuse to DNF any books my 2026 list!!! I don't think I can read this without an audio book, so.... Just gonna listen to the full version and... Technically finish the physical one I have 😃

I know I just updated and I'm almost done with this book, BUT Maleficent being Aurora's mom on top of literally everything else in this book is such a friggin' reach! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Whats the point of that!?!!!!!??!?!??

This one is hurting my head! There's so much going on, I'm losing track!! It's like a soap opera! This whole time a character hasn't been another characters' sister she's been their daughter! Maleficent is border line Elphaba! And now Aurora HAS to be asleep for her own protection!! WTF is happening!?!?!!

Leaving a baby to die because she looks different when you're a bunch of fairies is asking for a villain to put your princess to sleep before you can give her your third gift!

It's like Elphaba, but with three effin' Glindas!!

The Princess Tulip plot is really slowing these last two books and I'm REALLY hoping it leads up to SOMETHING!

Also a fight between Maleficent and Ursula sounds bad ass!

Of course Maleficent would win, but still bad ass.

There better be a point to this Princess Morningstar (at least in the rest of the series) or I'm gonna hate this one. I'm here for the Odd Sisters plot line! Not some random, out of nowhere character!! That's why I hated the other Beauty and the Beast book!!

I only just realized that the Queen still doesn't have a name 😂😂😂 Honesty, nothing wrong with it, she's literally listed as Evil Queen in the credits, but it's still funny

Oh my God...! The Magic Mirror can give birth!?!?!

Okay, so not only will the Beast forever be a beast, not only will the servants be furniture, tableware, and cleaning products forever, not only will the servants (possibly) turn into inanimate objects, NOT ONLY is the castle getting covered in spiderwebs and imprisoning everyone within castle grounds, BUT the castle will also sink into the ground... I'm starting to think Belle's mom's insane!!

Belle accidentally destroys the rose in this version and she just pretty much guesses her mother was the enchantress who cursed the beast, because she sees a vision of the enchantress cursing him. Again not much of a twist when it's literally on the cover and we know why she did it, how it's broken, and so on and so forth... Okay, Disney, let's see where you're going with this 🥱

... I wanna watch the movie... That's literally all this is so far, with the exception of Belle's parents backstory which... The tag line of this book already sort of gives away the "twist", so... Kinda pointless.

I know I'm nearly done with this, but I swear, every time Haymitch turns around someone dies! If this dude had a nickel for every time he turns to do his own thing only to turn back and see someone he likes getting eaten alive, he'd have two nickels! Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

No, Louella!! She was our sweetheart!! Also, it's crazy how we go from "Fight the power!!!" in this book (the one that takes place in the past) to "Eh, we'll fight the power by pretending we'll Romeo and Juliette ourselves at the very end of the games."




And then be drugged and ASLEEP when we finally destroy the power!!!!!!

The only thing making up for the obnoxious back and forth of I don't trust you, but I love you, but I'm gonna kill you, I still don't trust you because I know that you know that I know you plan on killing me, but I'm in love with you is the suspense of all the fucking close call deaths!!!
