I just bought this book on Kindle. I have been lending via Kiva.org for years now, and find it a really rewarding experience. I rotate the same funds from one borrower to the next, donating all interest income back to Kiva. I don't do this to make money, I do it to stay connected to the world. I tend to lend to photographers (guilty pleasure) and educational ventures.
