Alright, an interesting start for now. I’ve read through first narrative bit with G and his wife, and the woman that gets attacked on the street by another woman. My mind is confused and is like a soup right now, but after realising those two bits are different—marked by the tense change and the slightly bigger gap, I’ve now grasped it a bit more.

Not much was done today actually, I read a couple pages from book five but sadly didn’t have enough time for more. Diomedes raging and fighting the gods and causing a carnage amongst the Trojans was interesting. Can’t wait to find more about what gods do about this threat honestly. Gods being able to be wounded by mortals is sure interesting. Not much grand themes, but slowly building up towards that.

Just finished with the introduction, did skim read it but it was pretty fine. It talked about the themes of war & peace and nature of humanity, tragedy of Achilles and Hector and others. That similarity between Socrates and Achilles was actually so interesting, like wow! Yes it did drag on a bit and I was growing impatient to actually start the book, but it was a good introduction for sure.

Wow. My heart goes out for those Dene children who lost their lives and/or got traumatised from those Canadian governmental residential schools. Wow. Yea, this is very Maus-like and it's very meaningful and impactful. Very glad of this comic's existence, in a way, so that I could learn more about it and for more spread of the history and all

6.34-7.06 pm on Sun 23rd Feb 25, 31 minutes in Sunsama. 29 minutes shy of the scheduled 1:00. Damn that was actually pretty good, the first two parts are now complete. Yea I did enjoy it quite much, loved the artstyle and also the introspect into that tribal life and then the introduction to pipeline problems and issues with the land and lifestyle. Interesting, can’t wait to see how it would go next.

Dang that sure was rather quite heavy and quite interesting too. Poor cat really, don’t have anything to say about that—and also, poor Claudia and Friede too, that bastard Mr Henry and basically everyone else around the neighbourhood/place in general. Can’t wait for more, it’s already pretty intense right now. I’m on ‘Spring’ as now and Winter was sure heavy, but Spring’s looking much heavier right now, hahaa.

3.06-3.30 pm, 24 minutes in Sunsama, then 10.29-11.24 pm, 1 hour and 15 minutes in Sunsama in total. 45 minutes more than the scheduled timing of 0:30, and actually I’m pretty fine with it. 32% and I really find the structure and narrative voice interesting and also the underlying themes related to race in general. Yea I’m enjoying it so far really, went up to ‘Winter’ and can’t wait for more.

3.27-4.40 pm, 40 minutes in Sunsama, and then 8.32-9 pm, 28 additional minutes which brings it to 1 hour and 8 minutes in Sunsama. 8 minutes more than the scheduled timing of 1:00, and I’m actually pretty glad that I’m done with ‘Watchman’ and ‘Tree Falls’ chapters! 74% of the way through, and pretty good stuff that have happened in the chapters related to that Doctor, Felix, Robin, and all. Getting a grasp of things

9.56-10.50 pm, 21 minutes in Sunsama. Another chapter finished and I’m 51% of the way through, wahoo!! “The Squatter” finished. Dang that chapter sure was interesting with Jenny and even with Robin & Nora, wonder what’ll happen next, can’t wait!! Good reading in the end, relatively so—I did what I could in the day I was given in the end, everything social decided to happen during this time but I’m not regretting it.

Should’ve done some more work but hanging out with friends happened, which was equally great and I’m not really regretting it actually. Good reading, like two chapters were complete, the lesbianism is reached more or less and Felix & Robin are broken up. I do quite like the vibes so far, even though it was slightly difficult for me to comprehend just because of the language and my desperation to be done with it.

Hmm an interesting one, Dr O’Connell and Nora are introduced, as well as Felix. I’ve no idea of the plot—there might not be one actually, but it seems intriguing so far! I like the language used, even though some stuff did miss my head completely. Oh yes, did start to see the somewhat problematic bits of the text—regarding that black guy Nikka, wonder what else will pop up. That doctor seems rather fishy.

11.08-11.31 pm, 19 minutes in Sunsama. 41 minutes shy of the scheduled timing of 1:00, and to be fair, yes I needed to stop it as it’s getting relatively late. Read the preface and the introduction, and wow intriguing stuff really!! More or less skim read actually because they’re not that necessary, but I still somewhat found myself enjoying it, you know.

I was only able to read one chapter so now I’m at chapter 11. That chapter was fine I suppose, not much happened apart from Mike and Irma, really. Maybe something will happen between them, who knows. But yea I was massively distracted as I decided to write some Haru toxic dialogue, wow this sure was the time, huh… But yea I’ll have the evening session too, so hopefully that should be fine.

58%, with left on chapter 10. Okay okay, some progress has been made and Irma, one of the lost bunch, have been found!! Some nice and engrossing prose too, sprinkled here and then. I’ll also say that the bits with Sara at that last chapter and the Headmistress were…yea, not that immersive, but I still read it through, despite that. My feelings of the book have not changed, but it’s still somewhat interesting.

0232-0415 pm on Sunday 13th Oct 24. I’m 38% way through the novel on chapter 7. Still going quite well and good really, lots of characters still which makes it a bit difficult to follow, but I’m left thinking of what happened to those four/three girls! Some more development of news and investigation really, but yea nothing that much of a thing.

Damn the first three chapter are down, 10 more to go. Like wow, wonderful depictions of the surroundings and especially of the Hanging Rock. Characters might be a bit difficult to understand and remember, but it’s going pretty well on that front too, as yet. I like the theme of the ‘blurring of the line between fact and fiction,’ and it’s already started with the disappearances and all.

0259-0317 pm, 17 minutes in Sunsama. Yup, that's pretty much pathetic compared to the 1:10 of the scheduled time, but I'd like to get some work done, as well as the printing and everything else. Tomorrow though, I should have some more time to continue this. I really didn't want to leave it at that, that hare hunting episode was so cool and interesting and also grotesque, like wow!!

That ghost groom shall invade my dreams, hopefully to a scenario where that treacherous armband wouldn't attack him.

I love Xie Lian so much, if I were into boys I'd want to become his wife but he's pretty androgynous so I can see this working
