Uh...okay, I guess...

Um...there is a lot missing in these later chapters. Jumping straight into information and not how we came across it. And I thought we weren't supposed to tell anyone else...

Okay then, that's...why are the Turnbills not the ones punished then and technically it was not her blood that made the bargain, so that should mean something as well. This just feels like we're being dragged from scene to scene with little fluidity.

Then why bother with those first 150 pages then? They didn't matter.

Okay then...also very anticlimactic--I feel like we've learned nothing and we're 150 pages in.

Are we surprised? There was almost no character development, of course he's not a great guy. Blech. This main character is just so...naive, in some of the worst ways.

Oh...well, that was...well just painful to read. Yikes. Where is the tension?

I'm sorry, that's it!?! And then we skip forward? Why even have this scene. 400+ pages of this--I'm hoping this picks up soon otherwise, I'm out.

This has a telling problem. Please show and why would you skip building tension scenes between your love interest? Thus far I find this to be very unbelievable and the pacing very off.
