Such fateful sequence of events that has begun to stir up this rural romance over the course of these last few chapters. The dynamic between Toby and Lara has me intrigued. There is clearly lingering feelings and mutual care between them, but their unresolved pasts are clearly taking a toll and continue to strain their relationship. I'm eager to see how their connection deepens as the story unfolds. I'm loving this.
