Since this is his first book I was expecting it to be a bit clunky and unpolished and I can say in that regard it really is not as bad as I was expecting. I will say the main character being a bigger smart ass than I am does make the read a bit challenging. So far though I'm sticking with it. Also it is not as quick of a read as say Connelly or Baldacci.

Very different from having a cop as main character. Very slow pace. Long chapters followed by really short ones. Plot is good. And when another character gets involved it helps to speed things up a bit.

Full of twists and turns I am still not sure who is doing what. Sometimes I can figure stuff out before I finish a David Baldacci book but a lot of times I cannot. This may very well be a time when I don't

This is to my knowledge my first experience with Web London but I'm already a fan.

Has opened my eyes a little bit about the present state of political affairs in the US

If you can get past the unapologetic partisan nature of Barr's writing it's a pretty good narrative. 120 pages in I'm not sure I'll make it to the end.

So far it's interesting but in a way he's preaching to the choir because I agreed with him a long time ago.

Lots of twists and turns. Plot twists are abundant. Still waiting to find out the real truth.
