I’m really enjoying this book so far. Very different from my other reads but in a very refreshing way. I really love the way Ovid narrates and am excited to see how the story continues to develop. Right now I am on the story of the green kids.

Zoe is such a likable main character. Her story of grief is so realistic and so beautiful and I absolutely love the world building of this book so far. I love that it is about her staying both true to herself and finding her place in the world. It is also SO refreshing to have a main character who is 23. I’m enjoying it so much so far!!

Beetees son??? Actually love this book because it makes so much sense for how Haymicth gained so many allies in Catching Fire

Still super interesting Darrow is now selected for the house of Mars. The whole school thing gets a little confusing but that also could just be because I’m tired lol. RIP that one twin that Darrow killed tho

Omg this book is SO GOOD so far! The writing is phenomenal. I adore the way Darrow spoke of Eo and just everything about this book. The fact that the lower Red’s only lived until their 30’s while the Golds live far longer is just so entertaining. Currently I’m at the part where they’ve changed his body into a gold and he’s adjusting and it’s just so good.

Honestly not really enjoying it as much as I thought. Faeryn and Tamlin slept together but their romance feels so cheese and out of no where. Very Y/N

Faeryn has just gotten to the manor, they wear animal masks and she’s walking in the garden. Interesting book so far, very detailed, but also very Y/N vibes lol
