UNEXPECTED TWIST I LIKE THIS

There is just too much going on and these characters are so underdeveloped and there’s never any lasting conflict between characters either

I do not recommend this book. But I will finish it. At some point.

Now that this courting nonsense is behind us, I hope this one is better

The plot is picking up and that’s interesting but I continue to remain disappointed on the romance front

This book is supposed to be about a courting, right? WHERE IS THE COURTING

Love?? This relationship development has been nonexistent. The words may be on the page, but I don’t FEEL it

Ew baby girl no he’s practically your uncle

This book looks so pretty but the insides are a disappointment

I will say though that states is a much bigger deal in this book than it ever was when I was in HS

A winter guard mention?? This was everything I needed and more :’)

I will eventually finish, but this book really isn’t for me. I find the pacing so frustrating, and the honestly I think the guy is a bad father, which of course distracts from all the philosophizing. Plus, I know nothing about motorcycles.

The focus on Quality is somewhat interesting and feels relevant in the face of AI development, but we sure don’t need this many pages for it.

I already liked sports romances, so let me tell you that I am EATING THIS UP 👏

Is this book long? I think it might be long

This book was published 21 years ago which feels both ancient and very recent. Is that practical magic?

Enjoying this although there’s something about the writing that feels less polished than I would expect
Maybe this is one of her earlier books? I am invested in the MC

Wickham is also female in this and I am liking how her story is building up (aka I hate her)

The FMC describing ‘fathomless eyes’ as ‘a ring of crystalline brown rimmed around intense dark centers flecked with soft green and gold’
Woaaaaaaah where did that come from all of a sudden

I do love competent MCs
Wish Trisha had an ounce more emotional tact, but alas, the plot wouldn’t progress if that were true

Okay let’s get back into these in progress books

Jizzmuffin shouldn’t make me giggle as much as it does

I like this already Hazelwood just has this ability to make me kick my feet and giggle

Is this Buffy? I think it’s Buffy. (I have never watched Buffy)
