This was a fun read. I knew from the start that this story would be an adventure and I was not disappointed. There is drama, humor, conflict and the hint of romantic possibilities.

Recommended.

I had a bit of trouble getting into this one. Our main character is reading 2 books, the stories of a pair of lovers and then her own story is revealed.

After reading through the drama of it all, it does have a nice ending.

I have dipped into this book for years. Reviewing it this past week week, I realized I have read it. That won' stop me from popping in again.

This book is written clearly & easy to understand. Recommended to beginner's and those already familiar .

Enlightening!

learning a lot!

reading this painfully slowly, for me, in order to absorb and retain more of this illuminating data.

some darn fine homilies here to sustain in difficult times.

week by week...still learning.

Could not get into this one at this time. Will come back to it.

This was a powerful read after having read something else about the era.
Lots to think about here.

This will take a while...I am dedicating a week or two to each individual. These holy people deserve the attention.

I am re-reading this and finding it even more enjoyable than the first time I read it!

Am studying this as part of my Lenten meditation.

Reading this as part of a Lenten study...

I would never pick up with author on my own but it was recommended in my Bible Study group and we are tackling it for Lent. Stay tuned!
