Who uses this as a description of a woman in 2026? I’m truly appalled they chose the word stocky when there are hundreds of other words that are more appropriate.

“DeCarlo, a stocky woman with black hair and an attractive face with big, dark eyes.”

I’m loving this book! It’s like reading 2 completely different stories and anticipating how they intertwine. I don’t want to put it down to sleep!
