Did not finish

Another book I couldn’t bear to slog through. Sorry.

Couldn’t finish listening to this book. I have never listened to a book whose narrator sucked as bad as this book’s CHOICE of a male narrator who is narrating a female’s story. The male voice made it impossible to slog through the book.

Terrible! Worst choice or narrator, EVER. The book might have been good, but the female centric book spoken by a very deep, mature masculine reader made me want to poke a pencil through my ear drums.

I couldn’t finish it. Just not interested.

What if the one thing you wanted, you needed in your soul, was offered to you? You could not ever turn it away. Slowly, this coveted, loved being turned into a monster?

So far, it’s “Mean Girls Get What They Deserve.” I’m not finished, so I’m not certain; but just the thought of their comeuppance makes me happy.

The suspenseful pace is real, the fear is real, the consequences will ruin at least four lives but bring joy to a village. Are they being railroaded and pushed into corners by revenge? But who is doing it? Everyone hates them. The whole town is suspect.

Doesn’t anyone whose phones are stolen by this guy have the app “Find my Phone?”
