I can already see how this is going to end... 😭😭

I feel the betrayal was inevitable, but it was still shocking!
the amount of death that occurs in such a short amount of time is crazyy!!
it's finally picking up the pace which is nice because I love this author and it would've been a shame if i'd ended this book disliking it.

this is slightly outside of my usual book genre but so far it's been enjoyable, not a part of history I'm particularly rehearsed in but it's been nice to learn more about it! :)

this book is good but I feel like it's been dragging on for AGES!! 😭😭

how many times are they going to have their 'last golden summer', I swear it's happened like 3 times now but they keep having more so its not really their last is it... otherwise the book is going well; I liked the Ramy interlude, thought that was fun! :))

Shelley's descriptions are very poignant and striking. love the way she depicts the characters of Frankenstein and Clerval- how Clerval helps Frankenstein to see the bad in himself and begin to change it. I thoight it was a really good way of showing a healthy friendship!

I like how there's an introduction through letters before you get to the actual story, although the actual story is not the story of the narrator, but of a random man (I'm guessing he's Frankenstein).

this book is so messed up but so good at the same time... I mean I never liked Jinzha but still- that's awful.

so far this book is SOO interesting!! lots of politics and, surprisingly, I'm actually really enjoying it. slightly creeped out by the Horse warlord though... 👀

such an interesting concept, demons writing letters to each other, and I'm intrigued to see how it all works out by the end.
