The unpleasant reunion with Baghra was disheartening, especially when considering how worried Alina has been about her. It’s sweet that despite Baghra’s hostility, Alina still has compassion for her.

It was hard to get much reading in while my family was visiting so it feels extra special to curl up and read today. I have been eager to get back to these characters ✨

I feel like I’m flying through this and I don’t want it to end. I’m sad I don’t already have the next book in the series to jump into once I finish 😭
