This review is on hold until after the New year due to the nastiness of the recent election. I need time to digest and reflect. The campaigns were and are similar but I was unable to stomach the compare and contrast until the end.

very interesting so far; the writer has set up the book in sections by various characters rather than by typical chapters. a little bit of time hopping but not much, a mystery for sure but also a main character flaw which complicates the plot.

this has started off with a bang already gripping in its telling! Think I am going to like this new author.

this is written in a very different format but I am loving it. the progression from the narrators point is interesting and focuses solely on the book thief and everything affects her and her family. the setting in Nazi Germany of course is historic but beyond that there are normal growing up and seeing the world differently reflected as the character develops. utterly fascinating.

On chapter 16, this seems to be alight summer romance read as well. characters are very well developed and I am liking the style of this writer, especially the era it is set in and continues through.

Michelle Dorn is on page 118 of 212 of Dispatches from the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters, and Survival
definitely in depth as to Cooper and the changes a person goes through to be able to report the horrors of war, starvation, genocide, and class separation in other countries.

The "view" chapters of this book are different and a little hard to follow for plot purposes, but I am liking this book so far. It came highly recommended.

about halfway through but I must confess, the story is dragging some a this point. I certainly hope it picks up. Harry potter was not my type of novel but the writing was excellent (read about half the first one) . hoping for the same grab on this one but not so far.

good writing and just got to the murder. love this writing style so far and how the characters are brought out before the "main event " .

did not finish, just could not get into the story. it is well written in terms of description but I feel there was too much time spent on details rather than plot. I felt it was never going anywhere. I rarely do not finish a book but this just was all over the place with no direction other than a child's death. disappointed as this author was recommended.

great in depth review. gives the theological Christian view along with the hard evidence. truly do not miss this one in the Jfk books.

Michelle Dorn is on page 101 of 510 of JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died & Why It Matters
in depth but also with a good public overview. Douglass is exceptional at this type of writing at least in this book especially with the Merton perspective in the background.

Michelle Dorn is 25% done with The Mating (Law of the Lycans, #1)
so far very good and keeps the reader interested. for those who like the movies of the lycans with Kate Beckensale this id spot on. the descriptions of the mating between the key characters is.....spellbinding without being uncouth or trashy. cant wait to finish.

Michelle Dorn is finished with A Road Through Wonderland
its a little tedious at times and only from a one person perspective but is very enlightening about the thoughts and feelings of the victim of a sexual predator like John Holmes. good read.
