First 30% the worst trash I’ve ever read, 0 entertainment, 0 enjoyment. The tropes are so unhealthy. Broody asshole man who just happens to be RIPPED even though he’s terrible to everyone around him. Genius but also stupid main character who secretly wants to be taken care of. Age gap, not remembering they’ve met.

Second 30% ALMOST the worst trash I’ve ever read for the prose but 6/10 for entertainment.

This is quite literally the worst written book I’ve ever read. Every thought is “he was broad. So broad. Actually? The most broad. His shoulders were broad. Really, really, really broad”
Like the thoughts of this genius scientist are those of a dumb 15 year old
I hate the tropes this plays into and I think literally anyone in the world could have used more interesting prose
Only good scene is the lap scene
