As I approach the end I have the urge to slow down as I know I won’t have another book after this for a bit 🥲

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been in a bit of a slump, maybe it wasn’t the best idea to read a book that I was simultaneously watching the TV series of 🤣 so when I was in the bookstore today I was possessed to purchase this spontaneously despite having plenty of books I need to read on my shelf, but I am very happy I did. The naturalist/field biologist in me is very happy.

I just love this series so very much

I’ve been terrible about reading and updating my progress lately, summer always does this to me. Hopefully will get back in a groove!

It’s kind of weird to be back on a “regular” dungeon level after the crazy political plots of the last book but in a fucked up way I’ve been enjoying seeing what this floor is all about.

And here we go!!!!

You know, weirdly, the book is much faster paced than the TV series. We are midway through season 2 of the TV series and I’ve already reached that point halfway through the first book. Maybe the series only covers the first book… anyway so far because of this the book is actually less detailed. There have also been some decisions made in the book that do not make sense to me but maybe that’ll clear up.

Okay it’s cool that the show is actually decently different from the book, makes reading this feel not redundant

So a friend of mine gave me this book and about a week ago my partner and I started watching the show Silo on Apple TV and just last night I made the connection that it was an adaptation of this book 🤣 so naturally I had to pick it up.

I simultaneously feel like so dang much has happened and no time has passed at all 😭 this book is crazy fast paced!! I have no idea what’s coming for the ending!!

Holy shit too much is happening 🤣🤣🤣so many moving parts!!!
