I am a 29 something old woman and I don't think this is a target book for me. I guess this is leaning more towards the early 20s people. Even if I am not a target audience, I did not like the way the author was describing or talking/thinking/judging her clients.
She came off as privileged, classist and judgemental to everyone who was not thinking of her ideologies. I would not want her as my therapist

I could feel slumping, so resorted to Ms Ali Hazelwood- Queen of slump buster

Had to DNF this on and on rambling off a
pretentious and privileged white woman and her oh so many "problems".
I kept on waiting when I will get to the apparent "good parts" of the book because I saw so many people tabbing it.
But I just couldn't take anymore of her having jealous fits over her friend's happiness. It was so infuriating and so irritating. Just not for me. Idc what happens after that .

Now it has become slightly interesting. And ofcourse Benji is the most interesting one out of the bunch.

I still don't know what's happening. It's a huge tone shift to all the Backman's works I have read till now. I am not feeling that immediate pull to read it. It's mostly a bird eye view of the entire town and I am not sure why some of the point of views we are getting. Hopefully it actually ties up somewhere.

Are Kwen supposed to be from 2025? Because why am I seeing words like cute and girl talk in such a book?
