This book is very special to me already

It’s so cathartic reading this while being in high school. Not because it’s lowk saying that things don’t get much better in college, but the fact that someone actually notices that issue in the education system.

Knowing that students are being taught to “do” more than “think” hits close. I still don’t know what to do and haven’t been allowed to do so.

I am having a good time and reading this makes me feel kind of seen. And hopeless.
