I'm so happy that this book still slaps, if not slaps harder, as an adult.

Things aren't any more interesting now that I've hit the second half, but they are easier to read. I guess I should be grateful?

I don't know, man. That sex scene and the lead up was really kind of...........

I feel like I've read about four times the amount I have. This book is BORING and such a SLOG, good lord.

That chapter on animal pests just lost this book an entire star, damn.

I actually started reading this in February, but only added it now because it took me so long to read more than ten pages, lol. This one's pretty dull so far.

This is so criiiiiiiiinge. Sterling's throwing up an entire parade of red flags, too, and none of them are the sexy kind. :(

Janet and her social circle remind me of the Laguardia kids I used to ride the Manhattan subway with in high school. That is to say, I really can't stand them. Thank god the serial killer breaks these chapters up.

Still really enjoying the book, but the way that Catholicism/Christianity is written about feels less like the organic emotions or conclusions of the characters and more like the author's own personal distaste, and it's starting to annoy me more and more every time it pops up. I have waaay more thoughts about this, but the character limit here can't hold them. :(

I'm aggressively invested in the Rhun storyline already. Tam and Thrain could never actually meet and I'd still finish this book just for him.
