This book brings me immense joy and grief for a man (and an author) whom I've never met or will get to meet. There is a happiness I experience when reading to know that humanity is special in that we feel and experience the world around us and have words that articulate those feelings. But there is also this grief, that not just Morrie, but all of humanity, do not possess the privilege to forever experience life.
