The MC is pretty unlikeable and the way she just shoved her way into a conversation about what had happened seemed pretty stupid. Her sister....why. I'm going to keep reading because I'm hoping there is a reason this is so weirdly set up but i am hardly rooting for anyone at this point.

Oh my stars. I'm not done with it yet but this has been such a wonderful read. So well done!!!

Oh my god so far I love it. It's whimsical, it's adventurous and Evie is instantly likeable. She's a basket of chaos, a girl after my own heart.

I honestly love the Lionel chapters. He is so vile and self absorbed and honestly the interview with Portia chefs kiss.
Im getting a little sick of Darius and Tory though. Like everything he says right now is so overly intense. Makes me cringe.

Oh girl. This book. I love it. It takes most of the first book to really set everything in motion but every character is so dynamic. It's exactly what I wanted it to be

As a woman in my mid-30s, this book is definitely below my demographic, but as a twin, it's cool to see how Darcy and Tory are bonded together. Im not in love with the book but I'm hoping once we get the girls set up and comfortable it'll be a good read.

Kind of a difficult read for me, it's very wordy in some parts and the narrator cutting in the story is cheesy but it's a great adventure story.

Wow. So far it's amazing. Amina is the badass that you hope to read about, not just some 24 year old with a bad attitude. She is so well created.

Wow. I almost didn't want to continue the book the first half was so slow and political but boy does it get good. Wow. I'm here for it.

Holy Crackers. It just keeps getting better. The last half of the book is making up for the garbage that was the first half.

If you can get through the first 300 pages it gets better and things start falling into place a little bit better.

The conversations between the characters are very clunky and awkward....trying to stick it out because there has to be a reason this was so highly recommended.
