It should not have taken up to 80% to get good but it’s finally good. And I am stressed! Haha

I feel like I need more plot. We are almost done with this book and not a whole lot has happened. I fear it’ll be a bomb of everything happening at once soon.

This feels like it’s taking forever. It’s a bit longer than I feel like I should be.

I am loving all the Kansas City references! The minute it said, “I 435 W” I got all excited because I know exactly where that is!

Well this went from cringe/slow and “I’m going to hate this” to being wholly invested.

Finally more intrigued…

So far seems interesting. Probably mostly because she’s a KC author and writes about KC though haha. But the actual story has me quirking my brow a lot. I need to know more.

It’s taking too much effort to read this ARC. It was going well until the ship scenes and it just seemed off? Cringe? The flow of the story kind of changed from there. It might be after release date until I finish this, but I will finish it. Who knows maybe there will be a good plot twist that changes my mind.

Pretty boring honestly. And the narrator’s voice is not great. Feels like it’s not set in the same town as the first book in the series either. Like this author just Randomly throws in the Appies just so it can be part of the series. Will continue though. I would not say romcom. No comedy. Cheesy and dull.

Was liking where this was going until this last chapter… it feels… choppy? Idk what word to use, but like we are missing something- some important leading up info? This feels icky/cringe. And why is she acting completely oblivious to this “lesson” and yet describing the “things” as if she is a pro.

I didn’t know what to expect, but this is fun, funny, unique and cute!

So far it’s been a good autumn/fall romance and those are hard to come by. Just not living the “never been kissed” movie plot part of it. I mean so far I think it’s been done well, just still not loving that part. But this is a series so I will continue because the writing is good!

Will finish this… whatever it is… tomorrow.
