Imagine the quirkiness of Princess Bride and the vocabulary of 21st century combined with medieval scenery, and the kind of silly fantasy you see in Disney’s Onward. It’s a weird combination but I have laughed out loud a good handful of times! The author definitely seems to be making fun of Romantasy and I am here for it LOL

Ohhh this is good.

This is definitely not what I was expecting, but it has pulled me into 1906. Three very different women are connected in a mystery that so far has very little to do with the Phoenix crown lol. We will see…!

I *think* I can see a plot twist coming but then she throws a big crazy wrench in it and makes me question EVERYTHING. This book still isn’t flowing for me— it’s hard to get into honestly. But I’m here for the plot.

This is going slowly… I really really like Adrienne Young, but I haven’t been taken into this world yet. I’m on the outskirts trying to peek in, and I feel like every character is behind a brick wall!

I’m on the seas with pirates..! Okay, maybe not pirates, but I really like this one.

This one is good. It’s tough because the topic of war & its aftermath is never easy— but I love the storyline and its mystery.
