Unfortunately I have to finish this tomorrow because APPARENTLY, you can't renew books that other people have on hold at the library. I'm about to return it and immediately put it on hold again so I can reread

Must finish this week so I can give my copy to Colleen

So naturally this is going the romantasy round... Won't give my review yet but I'm irked to the point where I delayed my hold on Babel until March.

I know OBAA isn't a direct adaptation but I find it interesting how much Pynchon focuses on Frenesi & her family, whereas Perfidia Beverly Hills was no more than a memory (I don't even remember if she had a dad!)

I'm not having fun but R.F. Kuang writes very well-paced and digestible material, so it doesn't really feel like a waste of time.
