Holy. Shit. Par 2 wrapped up! I feel like I should force myself to go to bed otherwise I don't know how I'm not going to stay up late and finish this...one more chapter!

Chapter 50 was insane! The battle, Luc, Soren, necromancy Helena being kick ass, Kaine 🖤 The aftermath, the love story 🖤🤍 Ugh, i think I am getting the idea as to why future Helena doesn't have a memory 😔

The pace has really picked up. We are seeing Kaine in a more human light. Helena's faith in the resistance is fracturing. Their love for each other is not yet realized but getting there. Will she choose love? Can she? Luc needs help. Things are about to get very interesting.

Wasn't expecting spice level 1/5 at 600+ pages 😅

Picking up momentum with Part ll which sets 4 years prior. Finally gaining some perspective. I wasn't't expecting the Kaine plot twist. I am really curious to see how this unravels.

I'm intrigued right off the bat, but I am wincing at how many pages there are! Let's see how this goes.

Everyone is trash. I never know what's going on. I black out on every chapter thanks to the archaic writing style and weird point of views. I have to read the spark note summaries for every chapter. When I read the summary of chapter 8 I was genuinely shocked to learn how much had happened. I keep missing all the memos lol
