Turnbull is still trying to find information about his parents. He fails to find the files because the seed ship has been dismantled on Orbis 1

Turnbull got separated from his "girlfriend" womp womp. The alien Guarantor looked at Switzer instead of her but took her by the collar. Now Turnbull is thinking about her wherever he goes. This is dramatic irony because the alien looked at Switzer but took Max instead.

Verbal irony shows up when the crew on the Mothership (the children) say that they will be slaves owned by aliens but they are paid for their work.

Turnbull gets seperated from his pookie bear Max by one of the aliens. They want her to be a worker on a different part of the planet. He is really sad now.

In the book, one of the aliens named Boohral steps into the auditorium where the kids are getting picked to work in different parts of the planet. Turnbull thought that his assistants were his bodyguards but they seem terrified of him.

JT (or turnbull,) is the protagonist. JT is kind of a problem solving person. He convinced everybody to go on Orbis 1 even though they didn't want to on page 28. He also found out some information about his parents on the ship's computer on page 7.
