I'm not liking this so far... I'll give it a chance.

I’ve been in a smut slump so I’m going back to childhood nostalgia lol. This audiobook set is in chronological order, not book order which is going to be a cool listen.

I had the book set as a kid and I used to re-read this every year in chronological as well as book order.

I'm only 20 minutes in and I'm already like WTF! Let's see if that turns into a good wtf because...

I am already a huge fan because the FMC Witch is not a new witch. She comes from a long line in a witch family. Her sister, mother is one. So and so..
It's refreshing that she knows her craft and knows what's what as opposed to most books where the witch is 'new' or just discovered she's a witch, so she starts off weak. I'm excited to see where this goes without having to go through the 'learning' process.

I DNF at 15%. How was this book so hype a few years ago?!? It’s creepy Af!!! Dark romance… no… creepy AF…

Thus far, I've loved this series and have not been bored on a single page but they're losing me here... the miscommunication or lack thereof is my least favorite to read. The problem from the last 30% of the book could have been solved with 1 conversation but the issue is being dragged out for weeks for what?!?! Did they run out of plot ideas?
I am currently very disappointed, hating this and am exhausted.

I'm already annoyed. Her first time, 6 years ago she lost her virginity to 3 men... 3 men she just met that night? No protection and has a son? Oh and of course she hasn't been with anyone else since then. Not even a kiss...

Seriously!?!?! What's wrong with writing a woman who has sexual experience and not the typical 'only had 1 or none' type FMC. I will give it a chance but I'm already annoyed.

I’m going to resist DNF but this may be the end of this series for me. 29 and a virgin FMC? And the playboy brother of the CEO… big sigh. Rinse and repeat with these books..

I have to pause, I didn't realize this was a Part 2.... It makes sense with how some characters were introduced. I am going to read 'Those Who wait' Part 1 and then come back to this.

I am STRUGGLING to get through his. Regan is ANNOYING and the voice actress voices her even more annoyingly. I am not a fan of the overbearing annoying person who needs to be liked by everyone. Those are the worst people. How does this turn to a love story? Emma suddenly likes all of Regan's annoying quirks after 2 years of knowing her?

I am only finishing because I can't have all 5-star ratings right... :/

My first time reading a lesbian romance. I think I picked the wrong one to start with... one MC is annoying, and the other is grumpy and overworked. I prefer to read about 2 well established adults.

The audiobook voice for Regan is VERY annoying. I've never disliked an audiobook voice, but I am pushing through.

I am 32% through listening to this and I am not pleased. Thus far it has been a brief history on the War of the Roses and it's currently on the reign of Anne Boelyn and Henry VIII which has been the last 25% of the book.

Based on the title, I should be reading about Elizabeth I & Mary, Queen of Scots and yet a third through and it's about others reign. VERY misleading title. I will finish because it is short.

I was seconds from DNF. From book #1, I would have never read it if I knew the FMC was a virgin, I'm not a fan.

Now here in book #2, he's being so back and forth, misleading with her it's ridiculous. And to treat someone who lost her virginity to you like this, over a misunderstanding, which you acknowledged was a misunderstanding (ending of book 1).

But as I was about to end, he apologized... so we shall see..

I forgot how wild this book is.

I’m a bit frustrated at how often she is telling her secret (being a witch) even though she knows the penalties. She was bought to an execution of a witch at 10 years old and still blabs every chance she can get.
