I really wanted to love The Spellshop. On paper, it has everything I adore: books, libraries, fantasy, spells, and a hint of romance…but somehow it all adds up to…boredom. The pacing is slow, the story never grabbed me, and I kept waiting for that spark that just never came. Nothing is outright bad, but nothing feels compelling either. A cozy idea that sadly left me completely disengaged.
