Totally unexpected. There's a literal way to read the book and another (trying not to spoil it). While the real estate agent stuck out, I thought maybe it was just some weird translation issue. Then, I was suspicious of the father-son relationship, which seemed obvious and trite. When I got the London character, it was right there on the page. I didn't care for the Ove book, but this is something entirely different.
