The beginning of chapter 16 is the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever read in my life

Oh MAMA. Incredible so far , Josh is sassy yet smart yet caring but possessive and protective and obsessive but not in a malicious way. Good lord. This book hits everything you’d want. Including my very own TikTok FYP. Navessa , the woman you are!

I’m starting to get a bit into it. The writing style is still a bit sucky but I like the story so I’m sticking with it. Evren reminds me of daddy Rhysand but from Temu. No one can compete with the OG Shadow daddy but I like the idea of vampirism as well

It’s giving daredevil vibes so far mixed with 30 days or whatever that film where she’s forced to be with the dude and falls in love with him is called. It’s growing on me , mainly because it’s just pure smut with some plot thrown

It’s getting interesting , mysterious key and all that jazz

So far , bit shit. Not a fan of first person POV and it comes across a bit like a woman who’s trying to be sarcastic and moody on purpose. It feels overplayed but who knows might get better

The plot isn’t bad , but the setting up of characters and environments are a bit rushed. You don’t seem to get much attachment or description and the description you do get seems a bit cheesy. Kind of like a year 11 English class vibe. So far it’s okay, but I don’t think I’d recommend this to anyone. It seems a bit desperate to fit in with other fantasy books, but this is my first impression of the author
