Already enjoying this way more than the flop ass hobbit

trying to get back into the habit of reading before my move & school starting to help w stress relief. i’ve tried to start this series a few times bc I know how foundational it is to the genre and I always flop but this time I’m determined to complete it

haven’t been reading much because I’ve been too busy and too happy to need to escapism but brandon lured me back with a new release so here I am <3 (I fear I need to change my reading goal for the year)

i fear that i’m much less depressed now and will be placing this on the back burner until im ready for heartbreak. taking happy book suggestions

read the first third of this last night, def finishing it today. mitch album i dare u to make me cry three days in a row

haven’t read this since high school but wanted a short easy book to make me cry so here we are

i have nothing to add this time but it’s finally starting to pick up the pace, also i think the remaining chapters have to be shorter because im halfway through the book and on chapter 24 of 63 ?

getting slightly better, it’s fun to realize how many of his other books i’ve seen this magic system in and wondered why it wasn’t explained. def would recommend reading this before stormlight and after mistborn trilogy 1

definitely seeing why people say this isn’t his best, but it’s his first published book and has a lot of cosmere info that i’ve already noticed from other books so i’m going to stick with it this time (third attempt 😭)
