I am having too much of a good time for how dystopian this book is.

This is my re-read of The Untethered Soul and I swear, I feel just as slack jawed as I did the first time. ✨ 🧘‍♀️ My mind is just constantly 🤯🫠

I’m like half through and idk 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean the characters for me aren’t practically likable. The “chemistry” seems off and it has a really slow start. We shall see but I’m ehhh on it right now.

I don’t think I’m making it, DNF for this one. My first Rebecca Yarros DNF, but honestly what was happening here? Instalust, cliche after cliche, almost extreme accident after accident but I knew he’d keep me safe and come from me because I meet him 13 seconds ago. Also the cringy sexual comments and inner monologue, nope.

Pffffffffttt, idk guys I’m trying. I loved The Flight & Glory Series, Fourth Wing, most of her Stand Alone Novels (except Variation) but this is, well idk what yet but so far I’m tired of here the cringy he’s so hot/she’s so hot, I’m a puddle on the floor mess.

No, I’m literally having the best time. This is so cute. I was nervous picking up anything claiming to give Gilmore Girl vibes after “If It Makes You Happy” was really disappointing. However, this is absolutely so fun!

Enjoying my third re-read. Don’t Make Assumptions is such a powerful agreement.
