So far, the book is very interesting and yet strange in the same way, but I do enjoy it. Maali as a character progresses so much as in the 2nd narrative style. As someone who loves learning about Asian cultures, it intrigued me in a fantastic story in real life stories in South Asia that I have never knew about!

I’m reading this book for one of my college classes and I’m surprised that this is one of my school books that I’m actually enjoying reading. You get to read a nonfiction perspective through the lens of a deceased person, which seems to have political views towards India’s politics.

So far, the romance is so cute between Jacob and Hannah. 🥰 But I definitely don’t like Hae-Jin. I understand that he’s like a K-drama actor, but just let him breathe and explore life for a bit. Also he was fricking in love with Hannah for like a long long time 😤😒😌❤️.

I just have got into the chapters where Jacob and Hannah are starting to connect together and slowly in love with each other! This book is really cute and definitely gives K-drama vibes, based on both perspectives ❤️.

I have been loving this book and the chemistry is OMG SO CUTE T-T Jacob and Hannah being childhood best friends to strangers to now almost LOVERS! Such a good read for this summer 💜

Its a dark book, but I’m reading this for class. But it is quite interesting. I didn’t expect the ghost to come in the end of Act 1 though!

This book is continually fascinating me with how the story and memories of this author brings. It reminds me of how much I love about the Japanese culture and what I want to learn more about it. It’s still amazing :).

It’s an incredibly powerful approach to what an Asian-American has been going through within the struggles of farming peaches in the Northwest. Matsumoto introduces me into a new genre of books that I am about to continue to explore. I love how he talks about how his father’s legacy is also important. 🥹
