This is maybe the most torn I’ve ever been on a book. The pacing is all over the place (painfully slow for the first 100 pages and now okay), it’s far too long, and the writing is solid not good. But man, the ideas and the world are just great, I like the characters too. Some nights I just don’t even read because I don’t want to (which is weird for me), but then other nights I can’t stop. Idk man.

I like it. I’m not absolutely in love with the prose, it feels slightly uncertain with itself, but it’s solid enough no doubt. The story is interesting. This definitely could be quite good.
