Almost exactly at half way the book takes off. Basically the only action we get in the first half is with Bridget on the surface. But the second half is making up for it.

It is funny how you can tell that the authors are Americans trying to use the metric system. Nobody who uses metric talks about "quarter kilometers" it is 250 meter.

Never seen the original movie, but I liked fury road.

This book js not very well written. Quite one dimensional characters. The bad guys are mostly just bad for the sake of being bad. There are also some pacing issues,
