Trying to pick back up 2 books i've put down before, lets see if i can finish them this time!

This book is ruining my whole life
(good, but also bad)

I am so depressed. There are over 100 pages left so obviously, things could turn around but I'm just SO disappointed in this book. Unfortunately it is just SO infatuated with eh prior 2 books and novella. Dina and Tadeo have no agency whatsoever and im struggling to stay interested. I think MOST of the lucifer/micheal/baal chapters could have been a part of another novella like horns for hell. But oh well.

Part one finished. I'm so torn. Obviously this book is extremely well written, and I'm obsessed with how the world is developed but I want moreee DINA, I feel like that is such a ridiculous nit pick because its a 10 out of 10 in every other department.
I think it's just jarring because the first 2 books are almost entirely from the angels point of view and we are getting so much more humanity in this book

Wow. I love how these characters evolve throughout time and I love this version of hell.

So. Im obsessed obviously love all the magical realism, my only complaint so far is that I want more dina! sweet baby boy plastered on the cover I want into his brain more!

Wow.

Fuck. I forget how fast this book picks up in the final pages. Im at the edge of my seat. I adore how the earth is presented as a series of vignettes and stories from multiple points of view here too. Everyone is always observing something from afar, and things are constantly happening at the same exact time. It's amazing.

fuuuuuuuck. chapter 37 always makes me foam at the mouth HOT biblical FROTTAGE, jesus fucking christ.
