Will he ever shut up about… things?
I really dislike how many descriptions there are so far. I’d say a good 80% of the book has been the author flexing his knowledge on Sweden or some other absurd skill he’s got. As a Swedish person I’m not impressed, I’m bored.


(if so knowledgeable, how come most place names are misspelled?)

Although I’m already unsure of if I’m going to like the way things unfold in this book, I already love the way it’s written. What a picture Blatty paints - take notes horror writers!

So far this book has got some weirdly sexual undertones I don’t like.

But the first few pages did almost make me cry. :’)

I think about this book every day i’m not reading it. :’) Compared to other writers i’ve read Kings got a very significant style. This too (like the shining) reads like a movie, and Carrie read like a news paper. It’s a nice contrast to what i usually like to read. :)

Funny he’s described in the book as a bit antisocial. So far I think he seems very sweet. :)
