Reading this book I felt this sentence to the core.

It is crazy to think how much can happen within a year in a country full of turmoil, change, trouble and conflicts.

Despide its flaws so far, I feel like I could learn a couple of thinks, be it mindsets, be it political awareness or approaches to problems.

If you are not deep into politics. This book ain’t it.

This book shifts from hellish boredom to gold mines in form of political advisory every other chapter.

Book is interesting but boring. Literally a history book. Nevertheless, to view the PRC & ROC relations through an American lens is appealing.

Damn, now I understand why Taiwanese people prefer Japan over China, despite being colonised by Japan.
