I am not an avid reader in the slightest, much less when it comes to longer pieces of literature—yet somehow, starting this book gave me the easiest start of everything else I’ve read so far. A common theme in my reading journey has been starting 4-6 pages, and then letting the book marinate for a week before I ever touch it again.

I want to start by thanking a most special friend for giving me this book. I am not sure if it is the same copy she had read or if she bought another one specifically for the sake of gifting it to me; whichever, I remain eternally grateful.

Food for thought. I like it so far
