Character trait- (pg:54)
So I am currently learning more about the characters in the book. Today I noticed little kids/toddlers we talking because they said "Graham Qwakers" instead of "Graham Crackers." That is why I think there are little kids because their Grammar isn't the best.

On Page-44
Hector was in front of a store and there was a neon sign, and everytime it flashed on and off he would giggle. This shows that Hector is a funny dude, because if I saw a person laughing at a sign it would make my day. Also on (pg.45) The main character went to a restaurant, and the waiter set down a glass of water, when the waiter walked away he threw his silverware on the floor.

Characters Feelings- He was upset and started going off

On page 39 The main character yelled "NOT WORTHY'' then followed it up with because he's the whole package- like an all expenses- paid trip to disney world. This main character has had their moments but they have kept up with being upset.

Character change-

At first I thought the Main Character was nice, but now I think she's a little rude because she said on page 36- And there is Matt Hubbard looking right at me. Then she followed it up with "Suddenly, that oh-so-awesome camouflaged skin turned bright red and pimply all over. I think that's really rude, because what if he has no home or has very little money so he can't afford any face wash.

On page 24- I learned that there's a baby/toddler that loves monkeys. He also is very sassy and told his siblings "Your not my mommy I don't have to listen." The book chilled and then on page 25 he YELLED on the top of his lungs "Your not my MOMMY"

As I am reading I saw that the main character had a flashback. On page 21 in the 2nd paragraph it said " Lenny hands my mom's phone back to Hector and then wraps his arm around my mom." Then followed it up with "I remember him wrapping her up like this when they first got together and how she would close her eyes and lean her head against his shoulder like there was nowhere else to be in this world"

I am currently reading about the main character's lifestyle. So far we know Lenny, Hector, The Mom, Zoey, Bryce and Aurora. We don't know much about these characters. I am sure we will get more info within the next chapters. The main character is happy so far.

On page 52 The main character was happy, He was talking to Patrick. The author writes "Hi Patrick" I squeezed out a smile. I think this means he's happy to see Patrick, but I think he also wasn't because the smile wasn't automatic. It wasn't automatic bc he squeezed out a smile. So if he was truly happy he wouldn't have to force it.

(Feelings)



I think that in Chapter 2 the main character is feeling good, better than the first chapter. In Chapter 2 the Main Character is feeling more energetic in his words. I say this because in Chapter 1 he states that he was crying. So in Chapter 2 he hasn't said he was upset or sounded upset.

I think the main character is sad, because whenever I was reading he said that he was crying. The boy lied to his friends saying he was fine when he really wasn't.He continued to say he was fine, I think people should start saying what they truly feel because then no one can help you because they don't know whats wrong. So with not knowing what's wrong they can't help you with your problems or help you feel better.

I think that the main character is feeling sad. I think this is why he could be sad because on page 2, the main character says " These pants may kill me" after he states that, the mail character says " At least I'm already at a funeral home. That should save everyone some hassle.
