Aysel wants to live, it doesn’t seem like a big deal to some random but it is. What makes life living for is all she used to think, yet now Roman makes her, her. She wants to save him and she does. Roman turns on the car. He lets the gas enter him and he doesn’t wake up, until he does. She might be a flake, but she is alive. This book ends with nothing. It ends quietly. It’s not fixed but it's not hopeless.

Aysel says “Maybe we all have darkness inside of us and some are just better at dealing with it than others.” Some are, some stay happy, some keep going, motivated, healthy. Living their best lives. While others live in the slumps, resorting to things no one should have to just to feel. Maybe we do all have a darkness, but we also have a light.

Back again with FrozenRobot, or Roman, but she won’t call him that. His experiences are different but they both contain a life tooken, they both contain grief and sadness and a guilt; you can’t quite swallow. Can this be the beginning or the end? Can they recognize eachother or will they both ‘flake’

Big brother is always watching, but maybe not too closely. We’re supposed to be watched, but it is our peers turning us in. His peers are deluded by the terror around them. They accept the world they live in without actually living in it first. They want to watch you, listen to you, tune into your inner radios. They hold onto your fear to subdue you. What I read told me that Big Brother isn’t who they believe.

Maybe J.P or Jonathan Fitzman's ergonyms aren't the cause of the soon to be outbreak, but from what I'm reading there's going to be an outbreak, maybe not solely caused by Tamaya but she is an important factor.. I’ve noticed since the beginning of my book there's a ‘button’ on each chapter page, first one hole, then two, then four. Doubling itself with each chapter. Some chapters talk about “The Senate’s secret hearings.” Which derives text from a scientist who has created ‘ergonyms’ or ergies for short. They live in Biolene and die if exposed to c02. I’ve noticed also recently in chapters there will be simple math-

AM - “‘After school, on the corner of Woodridge and Richmond road,’ … ‘And you better be there, you thumb-sucking coward’ - Marshall and Tamaya always walked right past that corner on their way home. They’d be going the same way every day for three years. But today, he suddenly knew a shortcut” Just reading this new book I knew it was going to be good. I realized as soon as I read this that is where they live-

I didn’t think Eddie would use her last wish on Kian, but Wedderburn did. Kian's fate was sealed, Wedderburn found how he had stolen files and ultimately called upon him. By the time Eddie awoke Kian was gone, only a note left for her. "you've behaved exactly as I predicted you would. A handsome boy, a forbidden romance . . . well." And I quote making a disappointment on his end, but also performing beautifully.

"I fell into a fitful sleep, plagued by nightmares of the thin man... I woke with a start, but I wasn't in my bed. Instead I stood in the kitchen, a knife in my right hand. A thin trickle of blood spilled from my abdomen" She was alone, she could call no one, not even Kian. Eddie had no memory of getting there, and this wasn't some sick sleepwalk that caused her to do this. She looked in the mirror, the cut was-

“I am afraid. Of what? Having you. Losing you” Kian is changing, but he denies any questions on it, he was remote, cold but put on a mask. Edie sees right through it. Remembering back, thinking if there was more to his words, and I bet there was. She decides to ignore it, letting him speak on his own time, and oh, he does.

I finally found out what was so bad that sent her over the edge. The Teflon Crew spikes Edies drink, they took her, strapped a collar to her neck and made her bark, eat dog food and then posted it for the world to see. And all that was given after was, “Come on, Eat-It. It’s just a joke. Not like we raped you.” Leaving her behind the school as she threw up everything.

“Two creepy children stood on either side, their eyes cast upward, all black and unblinking.” Is she hallucinating? Or is it really something trying to bring her back to death. Each time the creatures ask for permission to come in, just like vampires, if they didn’t life would get ugly real fast. Edie believes them to be nightmares, hallucinations but, what if they are real? What if something IS staring right back

The guilt Eddie holds, wondering if she’s the reason for Brittany's passing. I mean, what else could it be? “...I saw so much blood, blood everywhere, staining her gown, her sheets, pouring from her mouth in a river of red. …” All she saw before the nurses rushed in, Davina and Jen right by, all the closure she gets before Brittany’s mother gets the news of her daughter. Dead.

I knew Wedderburn was powerful. I knew he could pull the strings on anything in and out of the game. Anyone you're close to or like at all. What I didn’t think was that he’d use Edie’s friends against her, at least not yet. “‘... for the last three nights, I’ve dreamed the same thing.’ … ‘... this ice man watching me but I’m frozen solid… and then when he touches me, I crack into a thousand pieces.’” --

“...a tall, gaunt man with pallid, oddly blurred features and thinning hair… ‘The dead walk. You’re one of them. There’s a hole, a hole in the world, and things crawl through. They crawl.’ His breath was a blast of graveyard rot, …” Kian told her not to trust anyone, he said she could be in danger. Is this what he was talking about? This man grabbed her wrist, said something that chilled her to the bone and then-

With just how the story seems to be going, the events happening, the secrecy, the hiding. It seems like in the near future something IS going to happen, someone is going to be after her. “What I’m extrapolating is that I could be in danger?” … “I’m sorry, Edie. I wish I could guarantee your safety.” Nothing is guaranteed if she doesn’t go down the right path, if not, she’ll be enslaved to Wedderburn just like Kian.

Whoever is in charge of Kians work has plans. “...I’ve been assigned to you exclusively.” … “...See he wants your last two cases burned as fast as possible. He didn't tell me why” Kian was instructed to get close to Edie, in whatever way possible. Smudging a substance against the cracks of the window, soundproofing so nothing can be heard from them and then laying down everything. I thought everything was set in-

Edie had just gotten back to school. Whispers and rumors of course, plastic surgery, guys having the hots over the ‘new and improved’ version of her. Edie is our main character, but Kian still holds a needing role. He is the one that saved her, the one to grant her wishes and of course her first kiss. I’ve caught up on some foreshadows, or insights. “I know who you are” or “The *ssholes at Blackbriar won’t know what hit them.” Kian's words sound just like home, commenting on things only Eddie and a few others know. Already knowing her before ever meeting-
