I've just begun: Chapter 1. Character setup. The Neanderthals. Getting ready for their demise at the hands of h. Sapiens, but I'm already all too aware of the phenomenon.

This is getting better. I'll up it from 3.5 to 4 stars at this point.

This book should be required reading for statisticians and data scientists everywhere as well as the 'if you can't measure it, you can't manage it' cohorts.

Nice to get the rest of the story. Almost at the halfway point, James is well-written and keeps my interest. Like Twain's books in this universe, it is linear. Emersive storytelling with historical subtext, I am glad I read this, a gift from my mum.
