Why is the writing so flowery? It's 70% poetry, and it's so cringy. The writing style is not for me, and neither are the metaphors. Kai is spending pages and pages just describing his love/hate for Paedyn: "I am the flame that can never escape her shadow—blah, blah, blah," while actively on a quest to kill her. He's not even trying to kill her; he's just chasing her and teasing her. Maybe romantasy isn't for me.

Why is there so much filler? Also why do Neel and Kiran keep arguing, aren’t they meant to love each other? And I wish they were just more sympathetic towards each other’s situations. Neel has been judged hi whole life because of his mom and just wants some love and Kiran is out there saving the multiverse.
