Vivi is on page 43 of 341 of Confessions

Three months later and I've finished book 1 lol. Random thoughts:
I like the many references to verses in the bible. There are many quotes I need to save. There's talk of the beginning of time, and being before St. Augustine was born (?): "Was I anywhere? Was I anybody?" Gotta read it again lol. Several parts talk about not being able to see God's face and seeking answers from God, it reminds me of TWHF.

The Lassie and her Grandmoter is like a remix of rumplestiltskin and sleeping beauty.

This is not the edition I am reading, oh well. My edition does have Kay Nielsen illustrations, that's nice.
The stories:
- East of the Sun and West of the Moon
- The Blue Belt
- The Lassie and her Godmother
- The Three Princesses of Whiteland
- The Widow's Son
- The Three Princesses in the Blue Mountain

At this point I have these chapters memorized lol (29-30). Every time I pick this up to continue, I reread (audiobook) the same part because I forget where I stopped the last time lol.

Hopefully I'll actually finish it this time lol.

I forget the chapters change pov's. Every time I'm on a new chapter it's a jumpscare and I get a little sad we are changing pov's, even tho I'm invested in all of them lol.
