something light to follow up Wuthering Heights 😮‍💨

Starting a new habit of audiobooking nonfiction and reading fiction, so this continues the trend 👀

sneaking this in before the movie release because 1) i’ve never read it, 2) been told to read it many times, and 3) fear that emerald fennel is gonna pmo with the movie adaptation even though i will be SAT for it regardless! just want to read the book without it being tainted or influenced by the movie so here i am

definitely spoke too soon on my last update because wow the stocks & bonds chapters left me a bit dizzy, but definitely learning some new things now!

now that i’m halfway through, i can confirm that this is basically as marketed: a superdy-duperdy-beginner intro to The Economy (all of it). so while I can’t say i’m learning too much so far (aside from maybe the history of banking and the Fed), i can definitely say it’s a great comprehensive 101-style intro for anyone wanting to learn more about American economics
