STORY ARCHETYPES: I feel like the book describes kind of a Cinderella vibe. I feel this because Stevie wants another tall boy to be her boyfriend and not a short boyfriend. I know this because on page 87 it says "I wish I could find someone as tall as me. They'll get me." this means that Stevie wants to find someone who is also struggling with their height.

AUDIENCE AND PURPOSE: I feel like this book was written for tall people because this shows how Stevie can make her way through daily life being taller than most of the kids in her school. On page 63 it says "If you're tall like me, you'd get it. Most of the kids at my school are inches shorter than me. I wish others could Experiencewhat its like to be like me."

TYPES OF CONFLICT: Character vs. Character. Stevie Crumb is against Fiona because Fiona always makes fun of Stevie for being awfully taller than her peers. On page 31 it says "I recently joined a debate club but I didn't know Fiona ran it. Fiona looked up at me with her signature smirk and said to Ms. Crenshaw, 'Some debate clubs are small, so I think Stevie should find another.' Geez, what is her problem?"

PROTAGONIST: The PROTAGONIST or main character in this book is Stevie Crumb. Stevie Crumb is a tall 12-year-old girl whose height makes her stand out in a world that can be disrespectful. On page 4 it says, "My jeans don't go over my ankles, my baggy hoodie is too tight and small, my sweatpants are too skinny, I definitely need new clothes." This shows that Stevie thinks she's too big for her clothes.

SETTING: On page 158, it talks about Sofia Wolfe moving into Kate's house after Sofia's dad, Gregg, gets married to Kate. At first, Sofia isn't very enthusiastic about moving in, but eventually she warms up. "Moving in Kate's house was not easy, especially living with the snob Alexa. I called Kiki to help me organize my new room, considering that I would live there forever now."

CHARACTERIZATION: On page 76, it talks about how Sofia's Mom died and how she feels. Sofia feels upset and devastated about her mother so she tries to send emails to Dear Kate, a famous mother who tries to help other people, to try to get her mind off of her mother.
"If only I left Kiki's house earlier, I would've been able to save my mother. There she was, lying lifeless on the hard, cold ground."

INCITING INCIDENT: Auggie's first day at school, which introduces him to new challenges including bullying, and his overnight school trip, where he experiences bullying from other classmates. Auggie is scared to go to school because of his appearace, thinking other kids would bully him for it.

ARCHETYPES: (quest) Iris Underwood is on a mission to make a Official Lola Bay Fan Club. But unfortuntely Melanie Fisher, known as Melanie Fish face, has already made one. Iris makes a club called The Unofficial Lola Bay Fan club. Iris wants to surpass Melanie fish face in club popularity. But it seems that Melanie has everything Iris doesn't. "if you were official, Iris, you would have these too." (p.123)

VISULIZE: I feel that Leeza is getting left out from her own club. There is this new girl, Dana, who is also a fan of Lola Bay and joined The Unnofficial Lola Bay FanClub. On page 15 it says "Then one morning at the bus stop Leeza said 'im not coming to the fan club after school'...P.16 "do you not like Lola Bay anymore?...You can still do them with Dana" This shows that Leeza is jealous of Dana.

CONNECTIONS:One connection I can make with the character is that we both enjoy eating sunflower seeds. When Ghost's father gets caught by the cops, this reminded me of a story I read once when the father abused the child and mother and git arrested. I know this because on page 6 and 7 it says "My dad, he's shooting at us. They gave him 10 years in prison, and to be honest, I dont know if I'm happy about that or not."

CHARCTERIZATION: Over the course of the book, I realized that I got a bit annoyed with her traits as she switched from boy to boy, and you'll see that it annoys some other characters as well. I know this because on page 195 it says " Taylor gasped, Belly I've been nothing but supportive of you when you crushed on Jeremiah and Conrad..." this shows that belly has been crushing on different boys every single time

The main antagonist in the novel is grief. Grief is natural reaction to the death of a loved one, as well as being something that everyone reacts to differently. This is because on Chapter 5, it says "...She looked at me, her eyes tired and empty, Susannah's gone. And that was it." {pg 30} This means that susannah has died.

ASK QUESTIONS: I wonder why and how Conrad disappeared? Maybe its because Conrad was stressed after Belly yelled hurtful words to Conrad. I know this because on page 37 it says "I (Belly) had wish I would've taken back my words but he deserved it.."

Static vs. Dynamic: Belly isn't a very dynamic character, which makes her a static character. However she is a very authentic teenage character. Since the books are written in a very matter-of-fact way, Belly basically tells us what happens without much feeling, and it's very difficult to get to know her as a character.

Conflict; Character vs. Self: As the youngest kid at the Fishers' beach house, at Cousins Beach, and the only girl, Belly has always been viewed as childish, and was often left behind by the boys. Belly's biggest conflict in the novel is her wish to be seen not as a child, but as grown up and desirable.

My prediction is that Jeremiah will propose to Belly after he has hooked up with another woman as an apology because Belly USED to like Jeremiah. Then eventually I think Belly will turn him down and keep her hopes up with Conrad.After I predict that Belly will most likely get married to Conrad which would which would make Jeremiah pissed because Jeremiah and Conrad are siblings.

The protagonist in my story is Isabel but her nickname is Belly. Belly is described as having dark hair and a face full of freckles and a slim girlish figure she almost always hides in loose fitting clothes. She is also told to tan very easily during her summers. Belly is half-korean and she is 16 years old. She feels a strong love connection to her childhood bestfriend, Conrad Fisher.

The point of view of my story is told by first person narrator. I know because the narrator uses "I and me". The story is narrated by Belly, and she talks about how her summer turned out and her lifestyle.

The book GOOD DOG takes place in Dog heaven and human world. In the begining Brodie passes away and goes to doggy heaven. He meets and angel and asks him to bring him to human world but he would be invisible. the setting of the real human world is snowy, cold, and foggy, while the doggy heaven is like a playground, sunny, warm, and playful.

Brodie want to go visit his boy after he dies, but there is a small problem. His problem is he doesn't have much shine left which means when he runs out he could die forever and be a ghost. Brodie finds Aiden's house, his boy, and enters it. Once he enters it he was scared because Aidens dad was there. He is scared because Aidens dad was the one who killed Brodie

Brodie has died and went to doggy heaven. He meets 2 new friends called Tuck and Sasha. He wants go go see his human family again.
