The book is very very dry written but I guess that’s normal for a book about the Roman Empire.
Love the stories about Cicero, Cesar, Pompeius, and all the other important figures of roman history.

God I had to go do some basic research about rome while reading this book because it’s more like a compilation of stories and questions about the Roman Empire. And how research was done.
