I think there are intervals where the writing is very beautiful, but they don’t last for long. I suppose that’s a function of the author being a poet.

I can’t comment yet on the story as I’m not yet done. A thought I had on the writing - I thought the book would be written more poetically. Instead, it all feels very matter-of-fact.
