Reading *Codependent No More* was impactful. It showed how my upbringing shaped my adult life and helped me clearly recognize my own codependent patterns. More importantly, it gave me a framework to address them. It was eye-opening and forced an honest choice: make changes where needed or consciously accept what I cannot change.
